# `once connect`

Provision a remote project and bind this workspace to it.

## Synopsis

```text
once connect [OPTIONS]
```

## Description

Resolves an infrastructure provider by name, asks it to create or select a project, and records the provider binding in the root `once.toml` under `[infrastructures.<name>]` plus `[infrastructure.cache]`. Provider protocol details stay behind the provider, so a project is provisioned without coupling Once to any one host.

## Options

| Flag | Value | Default | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `--provider` | `<PROVIDER>` |  | Provider reference, resolved like `once auth login --provider`. |
| `--account` | `<ACCOUNT>` |  | Account or organization that owns the project. |
| `--project` | `<PROJECT>` |  | Project handle. Defaults to the workspace directory name when `--create` is set. |
| `--create` | (flag) | | Create the project when it does not exist, instead of only binding an existing one. |
| `--dry-run` | (flag) |  | Print the binding without writing `once.toml`. |
